Winter is quickly turning to spring and we have been lucky so far that the weather has been so mild.  But of course that could change at any minute and our thoughts still might turn to a warm beach getaway.

February and March has limited availability both for airfare and hotels, but there are a few 'specials' that can be found.

Now is the time to start thinking of summer and fall vacations while availability is good to almost every destination.  Remember, with most packages, if you are under deposit and the rate comes down we rebook you at the lower rate.  We will also match rates on most packages you see.

If you are in the thinking stages, please don't hesitate to call us as our opinions and experience are FREE.

Sue and I returned from Sandals Emerald Bay after a week in the sun.  This is our second visit to the property and we can say that it is BETTER THAN BEFORE,  A new French restaurant (great lamb chops)and a new coffee shop with made to order specialty coffees and pastries made daily at the hotel have been added.  The staff is among the friendliest of any Sandals.  The beach at the hotel seems to go on forever and is never crowded making it easy to find your 'spot' for the day.  The ocean here has the bluest water we have ever seen (and we have seen a lot of water).  The hotel features a spectacular golf course that even non-golfers will find amazing.  Special at the hotel feature free nights, airfare credits, spa credits and free golf.  Call us today.

We just came back from a WONDERFUL return trip to Sandals Whitehouse.  We have stayed at Whitehouse several times prior and found everything to be as good as (or better than) previous visits.  What makes a resort a success is the staff and service and Whitehouse easily delivered on both.  The property is exceptionally well maintained and has a good choice of very nice restaurants.  Our butlers, David and Chris, were super nice guys and exceptional butlers.  It was great to experience them and certainly makes us as travel agents eager to recommend butler level.   Sandals properties continue to evolve and strive to maintain dominance in the adult all inclusive market.  Call us today and let us tell you about Sandals.

To further my knowledge of destination weddings I recently returned from Jamaica as part of a very select group of travel agents from all over the US and Canada to attend an intense seminar relating to every aspect of destination wedding planning throughout the Caribbean.  I learned the basic legal and documentation requirements for various islands, together with every aspect of planning the actual wedding at various resorts.  I was able to visit locations available of the properties including beach, gazebo, lawn, garden and on resort church wedding venues.

The choices are unlimited!  Sandals/beaches weddings by Martha Stewart offer so many options.  Flower selection, place settings, menus and live music (how about a steel band) assure a "perfect" fit for any bride and groom, from a couple to a party of 200, ANYTHING is possible.

This learning experience has prepared me to help you with your destination wedding.

Sue and Gary just returned from our 5th visit to the Iberostar Paraiso Grand Resort in Riviera Maya and were very happy to discover that the quality has not changed since previous visits. In fact, everything may have gotten even better. This upscale adults only, all inclusive beach resort offers some of the BEST FOOD and service we have ever experienced at any all inclusive resort in the Caribbean or Mexico. The employees are very friendly and you can sense that they are happy working at the Iberostar.

With all the constant media coverage about crime and violence in Mexico, sadly, tourism has been down. I can honestly say that we felt safe, secure and heard or saw nothing that indicated unsafe conditions for tourists. The entire Cancun, Riviera Maya, Tulum area are safe and have had no incidents of drug related violence as they have in the border cities. We commented that we felt safer in Mexico than in some Pa cities.

Many asked us if we were crazy going to Mexico in July. Crazy like a fox! It was 85, sunny and breezy on the ocean while 99 and humid in York!

With so many choices in resorts, we will definitely be back to the Riviera Maya in the very near future.

What can we say; you are a shining star in the travel business. The cruise was great; loved the ship. Our accommodations of the very last staterooms at the back end of the ship (side, not actually on back)  worked out great (got a lot of exercise). We felt no more movement than other cruises where we were more towards midship. However the seas were calm and it was sunny everyday; man, you guys are really good!!!  Anyway it was super. PanWorld does a fabulous job with reservations and last minute plans. Everything was complete and accurate. We've never been disappointed  with your guidance, recommendations and service. You've earned our trust which is evident in our return business.

FYI: Presently the Soltice has to have the best captain and crew on the high seas! The captain sang and played guitar twice during the evening shows and he is good. He did this without a lot of fanfare and without stealing the thunder from the other performers. He and his Sr. and Jr. officers were very involved in goings on about the ship, judging a crazy dance competition, playing pool volleyball against each other and a group of guests & participating in a Balderdash type word game (which was hilarious).....just to mention a few things. A very approachable and down to earth crew. This is something we have never experienced from the Sr. officers before and won't soon forget. After that Italian catastrophe right before we departed, we felt completely safe and feel the this captain is a class act down to the letter.   PS: We're always thinking about another vacation!  Isn't that what the world is for?

Three generations of myfamily have been using the tarvel services of Gary, Sue and Mary of Pan World Travel since the 80's.  Pan World Travel's personal and friendly service keep bringing us back, which is a true testimony of their expertise in the travel business.  They planned many of our milestone celebrations as well as ceremonies throughout the years.  From my parents retirement trip out West (which they talked about for years), to both mine and my daughter's destinations weddings in Jamaica.  They also planned my daughter's High School graduation trip to England, our trips to Italy, Mexico and the Caribbean.  Pan World Travel has been there to plan every trip we've taken.  The resorts they suggest are nothing but first class all the way.  They get to know your likes and dislikes and arrange the perfect trip around them.  Our friends and other family members are now using their services and are just as pleased as we are.  They arranged a family Caribbean cruise for my brother's, sister-in-law's and my husband and myself.  Upon entering our cabins we each found a bottle of wine from them to help kick off the fun.  This is the special attention you get when using their services.  The are not only our travel advisors, they have become our friends.  They are truly the "Masters of Travel"!

Sue's and my recent weekend fling to Paris and London was super-duper because of Gary's TLC to every detail.  Only an old-fashioned travel agent cherishing the highest quality of customer service can be sure that from arrival to departure, we travelers in foreign lands knew where to go, when to go, and where to turn if in need.  Our time was short, and Gary's knowledge and expertise assured that our limited time included the city's highlights during our mini-venture. Gary's selection of hotels always meet our style and comfort.  Sue and I have many quirky and unorthodox 'schticklakh', but Gary Goldstein and Pan World Travel knows us, knows the world and has a world of patience, and knows how to make us great memories!

It was magnificent.  The Tour was organized perfectly.  Our Tour Director was Michael DiAngelo, an X Park Ranger, who was passionate and extremely knowledgable about the parks.  We stayed on the rim at the Thunderbird at the Grand Canyon and stayed at the only Lodge at the base of the Zion Canyon in a little restored cabin.  It rivaled the cathedrals of Europe.  We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone.  Thank you so much for finding it for us; we are indebted to you.

Thanks so much for arranging our recent Atlantis trip.  The pools were great; the slides were fun!  We knew the food was expensive but eating an early dinner in the outdoor restaurants saved us some cash.  Our room in the Royal Towers was great and very convenient to everything (including the casino).

Extra special thanks for your recommendation to change our travel dates to take advantage of a better airfare!!

 You are the best!

My wife and I have traveled with arrangements made by Gary and Sue owners of “Pan World Travel” for years. We have booked many trips with them, and all have been good trips. They are always price conscious and work to obtain the best air and destination fees. When resorts ran specials, we were given the lower rate many times.  We have referred friends to them, and they have had many favorable trips. Gary and Sue are well traveled and respected by the destinations they book. They have gotten to know us and suggest places we’d like that they have visited. They have also advised us not to go back to places we previously visited due to declines in the service and facilities.

One event above and beyond other agencies occurred when a snow storm totally closed all air traffic for three days on the East coast of the US. We were in Jamaica, at the time with nowhere to go!  We received a call from Sue telling us to sit tight and that we did not have to leave our room, under the circumstances, International law. We watched for three days as many of the hotel guests packed, went to the airport, and returned in the evening to do it all over again. Gary and Sue found a first class seat on the first plane to leave Jamaicaand re-booked us on that plane.

We recently had them book us a trip to Sandals Royal Plantation at Ocho Rios Jamaica. This trip was our best to date with a lovely Hotel, only 74 rooms, great food and service, with room and beach butlers. We plan to go back on our next trip.

Cindy and I strongly advise any would be travelers to use “Pan World Travel”!

Pan World Travel provided excellent service in setting up, following through and explaining the various aspects of my recent trip to Jamaica.  The overnight stay near the airport, the flight and the hotel in Jamaica went very well.  The Secrets hotel provided excellent lodging, a beautiful view and outstanding service.  All in all, it was a fantastic vacation experience.

Before we met Gary and Sue we thought all travel agents were the alike.  With Gary and sue we describe the type of trip we would like to take---they do the research and make suggestiuons of places we want to go and what we want to do---they take care of all the details and make arrangemnets.  They have planned many trips for us, our friends and our son that have been just about perfect.  Some of our friends had been loyal to other travel agents but now use the Goldsteins.  I guess they have all of us a little bit spoiled.  We are confident in recommending Gary and Sue to all our friends and family.

Hi Gary.  Just wanted to thank you for recommending Secrets Capri to  us for our recent trip to celebrate our anniversary.  The poroperty was immaculate both indie and out, our room was spacious and nicely appointed, the staff was VERY polite and the food was fabulous from the breakfast bufft to fine dining in Portofino's.  This will definately be a repeater!

Just a quick note to say you're still batting a thousand!  We had an absolutely terrific time at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall Resort in Jamaica this past week.  We got back to Vermont at 1am this morning and are wisely using today to unpack, do laundry and all the assorted mundane tasks that are now part of daily life again!  I found Nancy checking in each room this morning looking for the breakfast buffet - she's having a little problem adusting!

Our trip got off to a great start when Stacey Ann upgraded our room (no charge) to an oceanfront top floor thanks to you!  The view was incredible and our trip only got better after that.  Did we hear that you like Jamaica too?  The employees were all just terrific, from the Star Friends to the butler, to the groundskeepers and waitresses.  The food was great - and I am picky - we ate in ala carte for dinner every night and all the buffets were very good.

Our only concern is that we have raised the bar so high with this trip that anything else might pale in comparison.  Are all Jamaicans this friendly?  Or is that an Iberostar only trait? We can see, down the road, revisiting Jamaica at a new location if the people are this friendly.

Thanks again for the great suggestion, we loved it!
