If you are purchasing a tour or cruise, you should also purchase travel insurance, which includes supplier default as well as other valuable protection. We believe that your upcoming vacation is a significant investment, which you should protect. For this reason we STRONGLY recommend you purchase travel insurance. There are two types of travel insurance available.

The first type of insurance is purchased directly from your tour operator or cruise line. This insurance generally covers you for cancellations relating to sickness or death of you or an immediate family member. Some companies like Apple Vacations also let you cancel for any reason as well (Apple does not refund any monies but will apply your total vacation cost towards a future vacation). Most of these policies will not cover you for any expenses such as medical, dental, baggage, delay, or accidents that occur while on your vacation.

The second type of insurance can be purchased from one of our insurance companies below. These policies are more comprehensive and they cover you for cancellations relating to sickness or death of you or an immediate family member as well as providing coverage throughout your trip. You will be reimbursed for medical, dental, baggage, delay, or accidents that occur while you are on your vacation. In addition these policies will also reimburse you for return airfare and unused parts of your trip. These policies also cover your payments in the event that your tour operator or cruise line goes bankrupt.

If you choose not to take insurance, you agree to release us from all claims arising out of your failure to have insurance against supplier default and other claims. If the insurance policy does not cover the tour or cruise company you have chosen, or if the policy does not cover your circumstances, you agree to release Pan World Travel from all claims arising out of the insurance company's acts or omissions.
